Abstract

Critical study on G. tomentosa and some of its related species growing in Central
Argentina. In their analysis, the authors include information about the indument
of the plants, and on the epidermal cells of the tepals. Aside of G. colosacana A. T. Hunziker et Subils sp. nov., the following taxa are treated: G. cladotrichoides Suess., G. mendocina R. A. Phil., G. tomentosa (Griseb. ) Fries var. tomentosa, G. tomentosa var. ruizlealii Subils et A. T. Hunz. var. nov., and G. colosacana var. andersonii Subils et A. T. Hunz. var. nov.
