Six species of the genus Coprotus (Pyronemataceae) from Argentina studied in culture

In this paper, six species of the genus Coprotus were studied and illustrated. Five of them
are new records for Argentina. The genus is a segregate of Ascophanus and is characterized by translucent, minute, white to orange apothecia, which appear lonely or grouped on the substrate, and non-amyloid, eight- to multi-spored asci with hyaline ascospores. Life cycle was reconstructed in vitro from ascospore to ascospore for the six species, analysing their behaviour in several culture media and different lighting conditions. The life cycle was studied in each species, its fertile frutifications was obtained that expelled the normally spores. In the studied species, in laboratory conditions, its amorphous was not obtained
