A new species of Carex (Cyperaceae) from Argentina

Abstract

A new species of Carex (Cyperaceae) is described and illustrated from Argentina. Carex
subandrogyna is known from Jujuy and Salta Provinces, where it grows in yungas at about 1000 to 2500 m s.m.
