Abstract

As a result of a taxonomic revision of Lippia sect. Rhodolippia two news species were
described: L. ciliata, endemic to Serra do Espigão Mestre, located between the brazilian states of Tocantins and Bahia and L. longispicata, occurring in the cerrados of Mato Grosso and Minas Gerais, Brazil and in Bolivia. The most important morphological features of these new species are presented as well as their geographical distribution
