The genera Eragrostis and Leptochloa (Poaceae: Cynodonteae) in Colombia

Abstract

Eragrostis airoides, E. bahiensis, E. curvula, E. intermedia, E. polytricha, E. secundiflora,
Leptochloa dubia, and L. panicoides are cited for the first time for Colombia. Geographical
distribution and ecological preferences are discussed under each species. Thus, the genera Eragrostis and Leptochloa are represented in Colombia by 20 and 6 species, respectively. Keys for the Colombian species of Eragrostis and Leptochloa are provided
