Abstract

Griselinia is a genus with species in New Zealand, Chile, Argentina and Brazil. One of its
species, Griselinia racemosa, had not been cited for Argentina until now, although its presence
in neighbouring regions of Chile has been known for more than a century. The present work
reports the presence of this species in Argentina (Parque Nacional Lago Puelo, Chubut) for the
first time. Key features for differentiating this species from Griselinia ruscifolia, the only other
representative of the genus in Argentina, are indicated
