New synonyms of Lippia lasiocalycina (Verbenaceae)

Abstract

Lippia lasiocalycina Cham. var. sainthilairei Moldenke and Lippia phrysocalyx Briq. are considered synonyms of Lippia lasiocalycina Charn. The morphological differences given by previous authors are inconsistent and both taxa correspond to only one species: Lippia lasiocalycina Charn.
