Abstract

Based on the readjustment of Melothrieae subtribes (Jeffrey l 992a) and Melothria L. itself (Jeffrey, 1962), Melothria anatuyana Mart. Crov., a rare endemic species of north Argentina, must be referred to Apodanthera Arn. as Apodanthera anatuyana (Mart. Crov.) Pozner, comb. nov.
