Abstract

Based on recently collected material, Trianthema argentina A. T. Hunziker & Cocucci is
here first recorded for San Juan province (Argentina). This species was omited from the
published Flora de San Juan volume I (Kiesling, 1994). The distribution of T. portulacastrum
L., previously known from Central and South America, is extended to Bolivia (Santa Cruz) and
Jujuy in Argentina
