A new species of Atriplex (Chenopodiaceae) from Argentina

Abstract

A new species of Atriplex (Chenopodiaceae) from Argentina. A new species, Atriplex quixadensis Del Vitto, Múlg. & Petenatti , sp. nov. from Sierra de Las Quijadas, San Luis province, is described and illustrated. Differences with the closely related species, A. lithophila Sor. ex Múlgura are given in a key.
