Studies on the genus Digitaria (Gramineae) II. New cites for Argentina

Abstract

Studies on the genus Digitaria (Gramineae) II. New cites for Argentina. Two species of the genus Digitaria not previously cited for Argentina: D. nuda Schumach. and D. paraguayensis Henrard are recorded, described and illustrated. Sorne remarks about related species are included. The geographícal area of D. similis Beetle ex Gould, cited for Corrientes province is enlarged. This species is described, íllustrated and the differential characters are given.
